From the beginning of the first financing from SID Bank Funds (Fund of Funds and the new Fund of Funds COVID-19 in 2020) in December 2018 to the end of June 2021, SID Bank, together with participating financial intermediaries, companies, entrepreneurs and municipalities, provided funding from cohesion funds in total value more than EUR 237 million. The activities of SID Bank, related to the implementation of the EKP Fund 2014-2020 and the new COVID-19 Fund, significantly contribute to Slovenia's success in drawing European cohesion funds.

In August, SID Bank, as the Fund Manager, successfully drew the last, fourth tranche of cohesion funds for the COVID-19 Fund, from which a total of EUR 65 million is available to companies for research, development and innovation and microloans for SMEs. In addition, EUR 126.5 million is available from the Fund of Funds, from which two tranches have been drawn so far. Primorska hranilnica Vipava was selected in a new tender as an intermediary for new funds in the amount of EUR 10.5 million for microloans. Gorenjska banka, a financial intermediary, has been selected for research, development and innovation loans for SMEs covered by SID Bank guarantees in the amount of EUR 9.44 million, with Delavska hranilnica already participating.
